PROFESSIONAL YOGA TEACHER MENTORSHIP
Teaching yoga gets easier when you stop trying to know everything.
There comes a point in every teacher's journey where another certification isn't the answer.
You already know a lot.
The question becomes:
How do you apply that knowledge with confidence, discernment, and intention?
That's where professional mentorship begins.
Whether you're teaching your first class or refining years of experience, this is a space to ask difficult questions, receive honest feedback, and continue becoming the teacher your students deserve.

WHY PROFESSIONAL MENTORSHIP
Teacher training is where teaching begins.
Most teacher trainings are designed to build a foundation.
They cannot prepare you for every student you'll meet, every difficult conversation you'll have, every class that doesn't go as planned, or every moment where you quietly wonder if you're actually helping the people in front of you.
That's normal.
Teaching isn't mastered through information alone.
It's refined through observation, reflection, practice, and honest feedback.
Professional mentorship creates space for those conversations.
Not because you're failing.
Because you're committed to becoming better.
Who this is for
Professional mentorship is for teachers who are willing to remain students.

Growth begins the moment we become curious again.
Professional mentorship is shaped around the teacher in front of me.
Every yoga teacher arrives with different questions, different experiences, and different goals.
Some want to feel more confident standing in front of a room. Others want honest feedback on their cueing, sequencing, or class planning. Some are preparing for auditions, building workshops, or creating teacher trainings of their own.
Rather than following a fixed curriculum, our work begins with where you are now and what will have the greatest impact on your growth as a teacher.
Professional Mentorship is shaped around the teacher in front of me.
We'll focus on the areas that will have the greatest impact on your growth as a yoga teacher.
-
Teaching Presence
Learn how to enter the room with confidence, communicate clearly, and create an environment where students feel safe, supported, and engaged.
-
Observation & Assessment
Develop the ability to truly watch your students, recognize meaningful movement patterns, and make thoughtful teaching decisions in real time instead of relying on assumptions.
-
Cueing & Communication
Refine your verbal cueing so it becomes more intentional, more accessible, and easier for students to understand without overwhelming them with information.
-
Sequencing & Class Design
Create classes with purpose instead of simply connecting poses. We'll explore pacing, transitions, themes, and why each part of your class matters.
-
Hands-On Support
Explore professional touch with consent, discernment, and clear intention. Learn when supportive touch adds value - and when observation or verbal guidance is the better choice.
-
Accessibility & Adaptability
Learn how to respond to the people actually in front of you instead of teaching only the sequence you originally planned.
-
Professional Development
Whether you're preparing for auditions, navigating studio relationships, building private clients, or stepping into leadership roles, we'll work through the professional side of teaching with honesty and intention.
-
Workshops & Teacher Education
Receive guidance on creating workshops, continuing education programs, teacher trainings, educational materials, and learning experiences that are engaging, well-structured, and rooted in meaningful outcomes.

PROFESSIONAL MENTORSHIP FAQ
Questions you may have before applying
Professional mentorship is personal by design. These answers will help you understand what the experience includes, who it is for, and what to expect before you apply.
-
Professional Mentorship is for yoga teachers who want individualized guidance, honest feedback, and continued development beyond certification.
You may be newly certified, returning to teaching, preparing for an audition, refining years of experience, or developing workshops and educational programs of your own.
You do not need to arrive confident or polished. You do need to be willing to reflect, receive feedback, and apply what we discuss.
-
No.
You may be enrolled in teacher training, recently certified, actively teaching, or returning after time away. Our work will be shaped around your current experience and goals.
This is professional development rather than a certification program, so you will not receive Yoga Alliance training hours or an additional credential.
-
No.
New teachers often need help building confidence and applying what they learned in training. Experienced teachers may need support breaking old habits, refining their communication, developing new programs, or finding direction after feeling stagnant.
Experience does not eliminate the need for mentorship. Sometimes it makes honest feedback even more valuable.
-
Your mentorship may focus on cueing, observation, sequencing, class planning, hands-on support, accessibility, auditions, private teaching, studio relationships, workshops, curriculum development, teacher training, or broader professional direction.
We will identify the areas that can have the greatest impact on your teaching rather than trying to address everything at once.
-
Yes.
Video review may be used as one of the two teaching-material reviews included in the eight-week mentorship.
Any video containing students must be recorded and shared with their clear consent. You may also submit a practice recording without students if privacy is a concern.
-
Yes.
You may submit up to two materials during the mentorship. These may include class plans, sequences, workshop outlines, teaching videos, manuals, presentations, or educational content.
The review is designed to provide focused feedback. Extensive editing, full curriculum writing, or done-for-you program development may require a separate project agreement.
-
Yes.
We can work through your concept, audience, learning outcomes, structure, teaching methods, participant experience, and educational flow.
Professional Mentorship can help you clarify and strengthen your work. It does not include building an entire course, manual, or training program on your behalf.
-
The mentorship includes four private 60-minute Zoom sessions held across eight weeks.
After acceptance and registration, you will receive instructions for scheduling your sessions. We will establish a rhythm that gives you enough time to apply feedback between meetings without losing momentum.
Missed or late-cancelled sessions may not be rescheduled unless sufficient notice is provided.
-
Email support is available between sessions for brief, focused questions related to the work we are already doing.
It is not unlimited coaching, emergency support, or full review of additional materials. Questions that require deeper discussion will be saved for our next scheduled session.
-
Yes.
The investment is $600 paid in full or two monthly payments of $315.
The payment plan totals slightly more because it divides the financial commitment across two payments.
All payments must be completed according to the agreed schedule.
-
Professional Mentorship is individualized and requires a good working fit.
The application helps me understand your experience, goals, current challenges, and whether the mentorship is appropriate for what you need.
This also protects you from investing in an offer that may not be the right solution.
-
I will personally review your application.
If the mentorship appears to be a good fit, you will receive an invitation to register, select your payment option, and schedule your first session.
If your needs fall outside the scope of this offer, I will let you know rather than accepting you into a service that is unlikely to help.
-
Yes.
The Teacher Clarity Session is a focused 75-minute session for one specific teaching question, challenge, or professional decision.
It is a strong option when you need targeted feedback or want to experience my approach before committing to eight weeks of mentorship.
Teaching gets better when you're willing to look at it honestly.
Every teacher reaches a point where another book, another podcast, or another training isn't enough.
Sometimes what moves you forward is a conversation.
One where you're encouraged.
One where you're challenged.
One where someone helps you see what you've been missing.
If you're ready to keep growing - not just collecting certifications - I'd be honored to work with you.
